"Geometric Loneliness"
The goal of this project was to convey a concept/idea in fifty different ways, in a cohesive manner, with the stipulation that we could only use a black and white color scheme and no typography. What I wanted to do, is to depict the different types of loneliness utilizing simple shapes, the positioning of elements, and contrast to abstract each concept. What attracted me to this idea is how loneliness is both ordinary and strikingly pervasive. It’s a fundamental part of human life since, and by nature, we are social beings. Another reason I chose this concept is that this feeling is usually depicted with a lone individual. I wanted to push that further by expressing the same message without including any people or direct objects within the work
